Cortisol has been observed in lower concentrations when the body is introduced to cannabinoids.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-28cb215 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"28cb215\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Cortisol is considered the primary stress hormone. It increases glucose in the bloodstream. This effect is natural; however, chronically high cortisol levels are harmful and can result in anxiety, depression, and irritability.\u00a0 Cortisol has powerful effects on many neurotransmitters.\u00a0<\/p><p>In fact, chronic mental stress is tightly linked to a variety of health problems; this is partly due to the chronically elevated levels of cortisol.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e655283 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e655283\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>Insufficient Research\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section elementor-element elementor-element-96bd9e6 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"96bd9e6\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-8d4c77e\" data-id=\"8d4c77e\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b7a20d0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b7a20d0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Research and studies on the effectiveness of cannabis on stress have been rare and limited.<\/strong> Often these studies will only look at strictly derived THC and not the whole spectrum of cannabinoids and other phytochemicals present in the plant.\u00a0 Because of limitations on studies imparted by regulations, the number of studies needed to prove a benefit has been limited.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p>This study that has participants inhale cannabis in their own homes found that those using cannabis higher in CBD had better results in reducing stress than those with higher THC. <strong>Based on this study, CBD in conjunction with THC appears to be a very important factor in stress reduction.<\/strong><\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S0165032718303100\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S0165032718303100<\/a><\/p><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ec84fdf elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ec84fdf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>Study Results\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f1bd343 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f1bd343\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>While studies are rare, the ones that have been performed show promising results for cannabis as an effective stress management treatment.<\/p><p>During this study, participants inhaled cannabis and tracked these symptoms.\u00a0<\/p><ul><li aria-level=\"1\">Depression &#8211;
